Here are the steps on how you can use Windows Installer Cleanup.
1.) As the computer’s administrator, log on to the computer. If you haven’t downloaded and installed the Windows Installer Cleanup in your system, download it from the website of Microsoft. Update the old version of the program with the new one.
2.) Click the Start Button and select All Programs and select the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
3.) Create a shortcut of the file on your desktop for the future. Do this by right clicking the file and choose Create Shortcut.

4.) Navigate through the interface of the Cleanup utility to find the information about the installation of the program that you like to remove form your system. Select the entry you want to remove by clicking it. If there are multiple entries, press Shift and click the other entries, or Ctrl + click. Remember to select the items that you want to remove.



5.) Click the Remove button and OK if a warning window popped up to confirm that the files that you selected are correct. The installation information will be removed by the Windows Installer Cleanup that is stored in the program. Wait for it to finish before you continue.
6.) Look for the installation file of the program you wish to reinstall. Try to reinstall the program.
7.) After the successful reinstallation, run the program. If the program runs properly and you’re happy with the way it runs to your system, you’re done. If you just reinstall the program to uninstall it, click the Start Button, select Control Panel and choose Add/Remove Programs. Select the program you want to uninstall and click Remove to uninstall it.
8.) If there is a failure in the reinstallation or un-installation, rerun Windows installer Cleanup Utility. If you cannot uninstall or reinstall it, the files associated to the programs must be removed manually. Then run the registry cleaner that is trusted to remove the registry entries you want to remove.
